i haven't gotten around to replacing the recalled fuel pump on my '19 fit . has anyone had a failure with theirs yet ?

 

Didn't know there was a recall of that type for GK's.

 

Got mine done 2 years ago i believe. The car is running good.

 

just got the Fit back from the dealer for the fuel pump recall . i guess they did the job . all i have to do now in finish installing the consul . the back cover was off , the WFI plug undone,
and of course two screws holding down the rear of the consul were on the floor . didn't realize it until i got home , by then , sometime after four , there was nobody in the service dept.
picking up the phone . by some strange coincidence , the service manager was the same guy who screwed us around with a warranty job on my mom's accord quite a few years back at
another Honda dealer . i swore i'd never buy another Honda from them again , so i got my '19 Fit out of this place .

 

The point of a recall is to fix the problem before the failure happens.
