Blind spot accessory mirrors and placement, sideview

I've read the threads here (that I can find) about the blind spots. Now my issue is my seating position of max comfort places me such that the side view mirrors can't adjust any more in the direction I need to see (hitting the hard limit) and creates some of the worst blind spots on a vehicle I've ever driven outside of some exotic cars (not my cars). I do turn my head but the columns end up just in the wrong place and having to then try to lean more forward or twist my neck to look behind is not only uncomfortable but dangerous. Again it's about my body being in the proper seating positions to not strain and operate the controls in best comfort (also part of safety) that makes side mirrors less useful and makes these blind spots.

So for the first time ever I need to get some accessory mirrors but I have no idea where to place them (inside edge closer to car or outside edge away from car, top/bottom) or which style/shape will be best fit for the space while still providing the function I need. I don't want to ruin what view I do get from the sideview mirrors as I still find that valuable and needed for driving.

So staying on topic can you recommend a product? And then where to place them? I don't need lesson on adjusting mirrors I learned the lesson that the YouTube vids show about using rear and sideview to create a mostly seamless view in 1985 when I first learned to drive a manual with my parents. The lesson is still with me.

Thanks for any suggestions.

You can go to eBay to find your preferred size convex mirror. That will solve your problem I would select one that would fit the entire rear view mirror, rather than the small round ones that is harder to locate when you turn your head or eyes.

My Elantra GT (hatchback) came with a standard blind-spot insert at the top of the mirror, toward the outside. It works well there, so I'd just get a small stick-on mirror and stick it there.
