Maintenance Minder Code "3" for Transmission Fluid Two Times in a Row?

The oil life on my 2015 Fit (CVT) with about 58K miles just hit 15%, and the maintenance minder code that appeared is "13B". Here's the thing -- it displayed code 3 at the last last maintenance interval (approx 50K miles, 13 months ago), and I had the transmission fluid replaced at a dealership at that time. I'll have my local shop (not the dealership that did the work) check the fluid when I take it in as a precaution, but I can't imagine it's actually due for another change at this point. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

They probably didn't reset the code when they did the service.

This happened to me. I keep a spreadsheet since the maintenance minder is off schedule.

In the Fits, it comes on every 30,000 miles by default. You can't reset the different minders separately like on some other models either.

The dealership can reset them individually with the HDS.

Except nobody is gonna take the extra time to do that unless it's their own car or they specifically request it. Hell, I don't even bother with it on my own car. The majority of people buying trans fluid from us are repeat customers, and we have records of all the maintenance they did here. That's the first thing we look at besides the car itself to determine what's due. There really isn't a need to do that most of the time.

In general, are maintenence minders based on miles or sensors? Besides one oil change minder at 15% no maintenance minders has ever showed up. My 2017 LX CVT has 115K miles. I change out coolant, air and environment filters myself. I had the dealer chaged the CVT fluids at approx 50K and 100K miesl

Miles or time. There's no sensors that monitor condition. For trans fluid it's 30k. For plugs, it's 100k. For brake fluid it's 3 years.

It's actually calculated according to operating conditions and accumulated engine revs. We have uber and taxi drivers come in for oil changes every like 1-2 months

I don't think anything in the MM is based on time because otherwise the MM would call for an oil change at one year regardless of anything else. But no, the manual says that if you haven't gotten a notice to change the oil, do it when it's been a year since the previous oil change (which happened to me during early pandemic when I wasn't driving much.

FYI My first CVT fluid change notice from the MM came on recently, at around 52,000 miles. It was easier to do than I thought, so I'd do it again in another 30,000 (because you don't get most of the fluid out when you change it), but I probably won't own the car by then.
(will be looking to buy an electric car in a year or two)

Brake fluid is the only purely time based thing. Mileage has no effect on it.
