bilstein shocks and struts
bilstein shocks and struts
just found out Bilstein's catalog has OEM front struts available for the GK . they don't don't list the rears on their website but i've seen them listed elsewhere . i sent
them an email about the rears but haven't heard anything yet . they are the B4s , any good ?

just heard from tire rack , they don't have any listing for struts or shocks . weird . still waiting to hear from Bilstein
i can't find anything to verify that , Honda lists different part numbers for the shocks and struts on the GE and GK , as does KYB or FCS .
makes sense as both generations are different weights and are sprung differently .

I and several others used the GE Koni Orange for the GK, no problems with fitment. I think the stroke length is supposed to be slightly different, but I can't remember what thread that was posted in. It certainly never bottomed out for me or anything similar, and I tend to drive harder than average. The HFP suspension was noticeably better, though. Firm and controlled without being harsh.

worry about bottoming out the car pulling into a driveway . i've got some mods , wider rims , rear sway bar and a few added chassis braces front and back . i think the car handles quite well as it is .
could use some better shocks maybe .
