Bilstein's are good.
Easily comparable in quality and performance to OEM Honda.

i can't find anything to verify that , Honda lists different part numbers for the shocks and struts on the GE and GK , as does KYB or FCS .
makes sense as both generations are different weights and are sprung differently .

front struts are the same part # for both the GK and GE . they didn't anwer my question , just directed me to their website . so . . does anyone know
for sure about the interchangability of the rears ?

I and several others used the GE Koni Orange for the GK, no problems with fitment. I think the stroke length is supposed to be slightly different, but I can't remember what thread that was posted in. It certainly never bottomed out for me or anything similar, and I tend to drive harder than average. The HFP suspension was noticeably better, though. Firm and controlled without being harsh.

sounds good . i've thought about the HTP suspension , but i'd rather not get involved with lowering the car . my last two Hondas were lowered , with the Fit i kind of like not having to
worry about bottoming out the car pulling into a driveway . i've got some mods , wider rims , rear sway bar and a few added chassis braces front and back . i think the car handles quite well as it is .
could use some better shocks maybe .

Are you running stock springs with the Konis?

Ran GE Koni Oranges with Swift Springs and did not have an issue at all. Worst case scenario was slightly softer ride since stroke was slightly more firm on GK from research.
