Purchased a Used 2020 Sport trim (CVT trans) with 29k miles
Just picked this up used from the dealership. I am planning to do some maintenance to get it to a baseline that I feel good working from and was hoping for some suggestions. Below is my current plans:
- drain and fill CVT fluid
- oil change
- add catch can to cut down on carbon build up
- use some crc valve cleaner to clean some carbon build up (may be snake oil but worth $12 to try)
So my question is, can anyone thing of anything else I should add to this list for a 29k mile 2020 sport?
Additionally, I have been looking at the common issues of this generation. Namely the fuel rail and VTC actuator. I saw that these were issues and service bulletins were released in earlier years of the generation, but do these still impact the 2020? Does anyone have a 2020 with these issues?
Thanks in advance for the help everyone!

Welcome. My strongest recommendation is to run Top Tier fuel only.
The GK5 engine is extremely prone to carbon fouling / buildup. We've seen severe cases with as little as 10K miles.
Running Top Tier mitigates the buildup, and probably saves the injectors in the long run.
