CVT question
Hi all am looking at a 2020 Fit. It will be the last car I buy before retirement. My only concern is the trany. Over all reliability. I know the owner of the Honda dealership were i will buy. He is giving me a lifetime power train warranty. But I still want some owners thoughts on the subject.

Apparently only the 1st gen CVT's(USA never got them) had some issues but even those ones seem plenty reliable.
Apparently the 2nd Gen CVT(USA also never got them) ironed out any issues and they were pretty much bullet proof from then onwards.
The only caveat is change the CVT fluid every 30,000 miles(or thereabouts) and you are good.

Thanks for the replies. Have no issue with having maintenance done. 30 years in jet engines I know the importance proper maintenance. It is always good to hear from folks that own what you are looking at buying.
