Door locks activating by themselves

2016 Honda Fit, base trim, 113k, Gonna open up the door panel tomorrow, saw 1-2 videos and it looked really easy. I don't have to worry about a side air bag, the window position or electrocuting myself right?

When driving the doors will click click click click. Doesn't matter if I'm going, stopped, or hit a bump. The do tend to click an extra time when the doors automatically lock, that's been happening for months but now when driving they're starting to freak out and go off a scary number of times.

Went in to the dealership and they wanted to change the whole dash control sensor display for $1,000. I'm pretty sure it's just a frayed wire in the door though.

Oh and the big question...if I can't fix it or find the wires or the messed up door actuator...how can I disable the power locks?

There might be one or more connectors along the wiring harness going to the door which are making poor contact or poor contact at the door lock mechanism itself. A frayed wire is possible but less likely.

My 2018 LX only has one keyed door and that's the driver's door. There are no other keyed locks on the car, just the one, and if it ever breaks there is no way for me to get into the car without the remote mechanism. Are you really sure you would want to disable the power locks?
