Key Fob Issue

Hello all, 2015 Honda Fit LX driver that’s new to the forum.

Quick Question: has anyone encountered a key fob problem where the unlock button now locks the car? Originally thought it was a battery issue so replaced fob battery and it seemed to work fine. But the problem has since returned in the last week or so.

thanks in advance!

Have you tried your other key to see if that's working OK?

OMG THIS IS HAPPENING TO ME TOO! it’s so strange. I thought it was cause the inside of my car got wet and somehow messed that up. Hopefully someone has the solution to this D:

Just found out it has to do something with soldering the board. So guess if you have the patience to do it. good luck.

I had a key fob issue too sometime back. I made sure both of my fobs had good batteries and neither of them got rid of the problem. Honda has an extended warranty on their push start button, meaning they will replace it for free if that is the issue. You can search this forum for that issue and get info from it. I had my dealer replace mine for free and it fixed the issue quickly. It didn't take them long to do either.
