Aem Heat shield shield with Aem dry flow flat filter instead of a cone filter. Just trying out different things. I was thinking of getting some aluminum tape and taping up the box.
Can't really tell what you did, but, well, that's a good result!
I took off the cone filter and zip tied a aem dry flow filter from an 2nd gen fit, built a lil heat shield box and connected a 2.5 inch hose from front air duct into the box. cleaned my egr and replaced gasket, changed my vapor canister purge valve and cleaned the oil out of the lil catch can it's connected to. Next I want to put a 1.3 bar Hks radiator cap on.

Since we're talking about this....
I'll leave my set-up here 😏 - RZCrewGarage intake manifold - Catch can - Sumole air cooler - "made by me" short ram intake - "made by me" "hot(radiator)/cold(intake) air separator" - AEM air box - 2005 CR-V throttle body - "made by me" TB spacer

very nice! What size mm bore is the 05 crv tb? Any hp gain with the intake manifold?
It feels a lot better all across the RPM range but i have to re-tune it.... Probably early 2024 I'll have new numbers ...
With stock intake we managed to push out 148whp and 124lb/ft Tq so any gains are good 😊
very nice! My cvt made 123 whp 114 tq on the dyno. My tb is bored to 57mm. So was the 05 crv tb a direct bolt on or did you swap the sensor over from the fit? 148 is good for a car that only weighs in the 2500s.
