Is this sound normal when turning wheels by hand?
Like the title states, I've gotten under the car to inspect things and to fix the splash guard. While I was down there, I turned the front wheels by hand and heard a clunking-like sound when doing so. I am just starting to learn how to fix my car, so this is a bit of an unfamiliar sound to me and I'm unsure if it's normal. I've taken a video of the sound. This is on a 2015 Honda Fit with 6 speed manual transmission. Thanks in advance for the help!
Also, I'm pretty sure my passenger-side CV axle boot is leaking. I will probably have to replace that soon :'(

hmmm...you are taking up all the backlash so it might be ok......i assume no clackiny clackity while driving?..if all sounds good i wouldnt worry......but definitely keep an eye on it....does other side make same sound?
i changed the snowtires last weekend, so i did this to my MANUAL trans and it doesnt sound like that. there is literally no noise when turning back and forth. so i had one wheel up,other on ground, if you had BOTH wheels up, maybe that makes a difference. unless there is clunks when actually driving it might last a long, long time, ....or not.,definitely i would monitor that.
CV Joint Replacement.
