Hi, was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem before, or could help me diagnose? Info:
-2016 Fit Sport
-Car dies while driving. It happened when I was stopped at a stop sign, then again when I was driving with my foot off the accelerator.
-The first time it died, I tried putting it in park and pushing the ignition button, and it seemd to restart, but then when I shifted to D there was no power. I repeated the process but shifted to S the second time and was able to get driving again.
-The accessories and lights remain on when the engine dies, but antilock braking does not work. Dashboard Oil light and Battery light come on.

 

1. Battery
2. Alternator

Check both, likely failing alternator.
