2019 Fit base model heater dials malfunction

I'm having problems with heat controls. The dial that changes where air enters cabin seemed to stick. Then the dial regulating heat began sticking. Cables going from dial to control unit seem ok. I can't see anything interfering with the control units. Any suggestions?

That is a known issue with the 3rd gen Fit now that they are getting a bit older. The heater box itself will need to be replaced.

The complete dash has to be removed to fix it. Not a cheap repair.

Thanks for the info. Even if it isn't the best info. I need heat before winter, so here goes for a repair at home, not a dealer shop.

That really isn't a garage or driveway fix...

It's the evap or mix door that becomes locked or frozen over time. The only fix is parts replacement from Honda.

The same era Accords also have this issue.
