Wait a second. Only a few days ago you were complaining that several of us made unfounded assumptions that you were sleeping in your car with the engine running... and now you tell us that you're sleeping in your car with the engine running.

Like I said above, you are putting yourself in an unsafe situation (compared to not having the car running), but feel free to do what you want to do. If it makes you happy to believe that sleeping in a running car is perfectly safe that's fine with me. If you're wrong you won't be able to complain about it.

Speaking of real-world experience: My dad has nine brothers, now ranging in age from mid-60s to mid-80s. They are committed (as in serious about their work) alcoholics. They all drink-and-drive regularly without concern for themselves or others. They all believe that in a car accident you're more likely to die by getting trapped by the seat belt so they refuse to wear them. Guess what? None of them have ever died in a car accident; three have died from cancer and one died after falling from a ladder (while drunk).

Now, "trusting the science" would suggest they're wrong in regards to both drunk driving and seat belts, but literally hundreds of years of their real-world experience suggests that they're correct. What do you think?

Cool.

If you see the strong please give a squeak so me and the other fearful weak can keep our distance.
