Does cold weather effect airbags?
This winter I've noticed that when my Fit has been outside in the cold all night, my airbag light stays on during my drive to work the next morning. Anyone else have this happen?
No, but my luck does!
oh it hurts, it hurts...sooo funny...hahahaa
an airbag broke my sternum...booo
But seriously I dunno (i would think not) but definately (like other have said) take it in to get checked!
Its not cool when they dont work properly...
trust me!

OW!
Sorry about your chestplate.
I suppose a steering wheel or dashboard would have done more damage tho.
I called the dealer and the dude said (after checking my VIN) that there was a recall having to do with the airbag wiring harness. He said it was run under the carpet and Honda was afraid they would short out if they got wet down there. Or something like that.
He said he hadn't heard of cold effecting it, but I'm taking it in soon anyway to get it fixed. Better safe than sorry.

The seat belt probably would have done quite well.
so did you happen to find out what the dealybob was?

Because the problem is not repeatable (i.e. in the car dealership's warm garage, everything is normal), nothing can be done about it right now.
