Question High Compression Pistons

I'm in the middle of redoing my Fit's internals.

Currently looking for 12.5:1 c/r pistons. However, I cannot seem to find any.

I read that the gd/ge Fit's pistons are the same dimensions as the gk as well, but all pistons I've found for those models are low compression for turbo applications.

Anyone know a part number for these or a company that makes them custom order?

with direct injection , the GK motor has a fairly high compression ratio i believe.

I have a Japanese Fit with 11.5:1 pistons. A little bit of extra compression would allow me a couple more ponies. Aiming for 160whp.

160whp would be quite a leap, that's around 190 HP at the crank . at most- 140-150 whp with forced induction.

160whp would be quite a leap, i believe motor mounts are avaiable so you can put a K-series motor in the Fit

I wanna use the stock engine since this is my daily. It's got 139whp with boltons and a tune, no cat delete. I think I can pull 160 with higher comp forged internals and a more aggressive cam + retune.

Doubt the trans will like the added power. Just K-swap it along with trans and have a hayday.

it'll fit in the engine bay. one of the previous Type Rs sold in Britain was actually on a Fit platform, the previous Fit model i believe. yes it would be a big hassle, but you won't make the power you're looking for just changing some internals

My previous GD was kswapped.

I don't wanna go through the hassle of building it, part matching, custom work, and maintenance.

It's a pretty big project that goes beyond building, plus there is the thing with car inspections in Japan. They might ask me to swap the engine back just for the inspection.

There are kswap kits available for the previous models, as my gd was first turbo and then kswapped. Big project, though.

Anyways just found out Wiseco does custom orders. Gonna hit 'em up. I still need rods since I already cranked up the redline to 9k.
