New Tires!

I got new tires put on my son's 2020 this morning. Four Falken Sincera at Mavis, 107,340 miles. I had to buy tires before bringing it for inspection. I'll install new front brake pads tomorrow and then schedule an inspection. The brakes are all original. The fronts are very low, but the rears are acceptable. I'll do them next. I think the rotors are okay, but I'll check them tomorrow.

They suggested new rear shocks for $450, installed. I can get Bilsteins for $80 each and install then myself.

Not the B4s - the afters. 😂

First, I have to install new brake pads so it will pass inspection. It's 30° degrees now, so I don't feel like it. The shocks aren't critical. the brake guy said the shocks (at least the one he showed me) were leaking. If so, it's a very minor leak, so I'll wait till the weather gets better.

Let us know how that goes. I'd like to get some Bilsteins and install them myself, but I do not know if I have the skills and the tools.

Yes, it looks like a simple job, unlike struts. Will you post pictures?
