Bench Bleed Clutch Master Cylinder?
Bench Bleed Clutch Master Cylinder?
Hi folks,
I'm new to working on my fit, but replaced pads, rotors, calipers, and master cylinder last week, which went very well. Everything is working now.
I want to remove the clutch delay valve, but am a bit confused thinking through it. I had to bench bleed the brake master cylinder before putting it on, which makes sense. Presumably, then, I need to bench bleed the clutch master cylinder, also. But bench bleeding the brake master worked because of the reservoir, which the clutch master doesn't have.
How do you bench bleed a clutch master cylinder on a car with a shared reservoir? I haven't been able to find anything. I want to do this by myself--I don't want to get anyone else involved.

don't even bother, get yourself an Orion Motor Co pressure bleeder and just use that, bench bleeding is a pain in the butt and I didn't bother and just used the pressure bleeder and it was good to go, best money I've spent. Also, if you buy their pressure bleeder master cylinder adapter cap set the one for the Honda Accord fit my GE8 Fit master cylinder perfect.
