Am hoping my efforts can eventually contribute in figuring this out. Got my wife's relatives to source it out from the Japanese Honda dealers. (Its gonna be pricey) She's leaving in Sept. and will lug it back for the eventual install.

Its a part only available as standard equipment on a GK hybrid. JapanTragic was able to install on his RS, so, aside from tapping the wiring, routing IMO will be the real challenge. His RS had it pre-wired so he had an easy time.

For the rest of the GK ownership gang, am sure some mod mfg'r. in China will come out with a similar knock-off part in record time!!!

Yeah tommycrx, This is perfectly possible.

The Japan part numbers:

Reclectors:
33500-T5A-J21
33550-T5A-J21

Taillights LED:
34150-T5A-J21
34155-T5A-J21

Hey Maxair, you made my job easier with those part numbers. Could you ask your friend how he did the wiring?

Keep on sharing!!!! Really great info for lotsa us here!!!

Uppps, just checked the part nos. Upper Reclectors:33500-T5A-J21 & 33550-T5A-J21 are the same as the US, meaning its not the LED lighted version of the JDM GK Hybrid. Will keep seaching and post the results!!!

awesome stuff on the rear tail lights!

I would really like to get the front LED projectors on the FIT. I think that is a worthy addition.

i'm actually ordering my first mod now... gonna get a BLOX neo chrome 450 type R shift knob.

I the stock throw is just too light... needs to heft it up a bit!

Front projectors are beautiful but their focus is for cars made for japan, england markets that has reverse process of hand, so if we use these projectors connected at night can disrupt those coming in the opposite direction.
I think we have to wait out for the European market.

Maxair,

for sure! it was really the same issue as the old EP3's, the JDM projector was on the LHD so the cutoff is not the same, indeed we will have to wait for more market options to come around...

heck... maybe in a year in the refresh for 2016, the USDM Fits will come with Projectors!

so hows the World Cup fever in Brazil going? the South America countries are doing fantastic!

Rottboy,

I think the shifter will make a difference. I was trying to see if anyone was still selling a older Spoon Sports Titanium knob, but seems like they are no longer in the market.

so I will try a BLOX this time.

ETFitRS,

Yes we wait out a few projectors for our market.

Tomorrow we will have a big fight at the World Cup.

I liked the performance of the U.S. team, I believe in the next World Cup it will to a final and perhaps with Brazil ... heheheh

Buds, you just had to post the first add-on. Ya could have waited.

Now that I read it, guess what, just got myself a BLOX Limited in Gun Metal!!!

This forum is beginning to cost my wallet serious wear.

Another toy pre-purchased before the car is delivered. A trend the wife is not pleased with!!!

Thanks for the info.

Don't feel bad! I've already have some Kosei K1 TS wheels and tire setup in my garage. A lightweight Ballistic Evo2 12 cell battery is on its way and a stock 2015 airbox with maf sensor for me to cut up to make a custom intake (will make Cold-air if possible) on their way.

I keep the wife distracted by taking her out to dinner, upping the chores and acting like I pretty much am just meeting her for the first time. There are no LX CVTs near me but I have a deposit for one at a dealership. I'll just have to distract myself until it arrives.....by purchasing more gifts for it.

Definitely would spice up the rear at night!!!

Japan Honda dealer retail price is ¥15,225. So lets say around US$155/piece or $310 for the set.

Shipping info. don't have as the wife will bring back this Sept. Hope that helps!!

I have a question about swapping out the stock wheels. Does the USDM 2015 have tire pressure sensors? Im debating about getting an LX instead of an EX and Im thinking of either aftermarket wheels or finding a set of OEM Honda Alloys from an earlier Fit or a Civic. Thanks for the help.

I notice in those pics there appears to be a small cut out in the rear bumper for a tow bar.

And I thought I was the Lone Ranger pre-buying all my parts??? Tonto and I are watching your GK project very closely!!!

My hat goes off on your technique for handling the wife!!! Mine likes bags and shoes. Looks like the spending in this household is a family thing. Trouble is I do it only once in 2 decades.

That cut-out is for a rear fog light (red lens)!!!

Ok, some of you must be getting commissions from the Accessory stores! Either that or you're just part of an evil conspiracy to separate us cheap folks from our money. Either way, it's working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And you know who you are.!!!!!!
