Is this your first Fit?
That's unfortunate. A trip to Honda's official site would've revealed the truth about color options. While some colors may be hard to find at first, the dealer should've at least yet you order one.
I did quite a bit of research before purchasing my fit , so I knew they planned to make it in blue. I checked several local dealers and could not find a blue one. I asked them to order one and was told they couldn't because they were not in production yet. Oh well, it's a done deal now. Like I posted before, I'll just have find other ways to put my personality into my new Fit.
Purchased and brought home my first Fit today! 2015 Honda Fit EX-L CVT with Nav in Modern Steel Metallic. Couldn't be happier. It has been a long month of calling, emailing, visiting, and drooling over the pictures others have posted here. Can't wait to start tinkering with the tech in the car. I'm coming from a 2002 Civic, so this is a big upgrade for me.
Share your plans and implementation as time goes on. Don't forget - post pics!!!
Enjoy the drive.

I just bought mine last night. I ended up with the silver color. The Ex-L/navi trim. My first Honda Fit so far have been positive. The only downside was how the dealer got me the car. It was a dealer trade. So it had to come from another dealer to my local dealer.
The car has 133 miles and when I asked why that many miles? the sales guy said it was driven here from 119 miles away from that other dealer, this means the original miles were 14 miles on the car. The only reason I'm being charged $790 for destination is because it was suppose to be delivered by a truck right?
Can I somehow argue this so maybe they can adjust that $790 for delivery. I still owe them a balance of $1163 because I purchased extended warranty. Maybe I can get them to lower my remaining balance.
Is this a fair argument or is the $790 just delivery charge from the manufacturer to the original dealer? I'm just questioning why they had to drive it 119 miles instead of trucking it over and get charged destination fee.

What is 119 miles? Nothing in the big picture of getting the color/type car you wanted. You owe the dealer a big thank you for getting you the car you wanted, but he owes you nothing for going out of his way to get it.
Now the money you have chosen to waste on the exerted warranty, that is another story.

You do not have an argument to win here. The delivery charge of $790 is what Honda charges to take the car from the factory to the dealer. At that point, the dealer owns the car. If a dealer makes a trade with another dealer for the car that is on the lot, it is totally normal for the cars being traded to be driven between dealers. In fact, the dealer could charge you for the cost of making the trade. They had to pay someone for 3-4 hours time to drive to the other dealer and then pick up your car.

I can cancel it, and you are right, it is a waste of money. I just figured the new Fit coming from a new plant from Mexico, that it was a good idea to get the extended warranty, but the fit already has the 5 years 60k miles powertrain warranty. Thanks for the advise, I think I'll just cancel it.

That make sense. I guess I just expected my first fit to have 10 to 20 miles on it. To think someone driving it 119 begs the question what if the driver break-in the car by driving it rough and so on & again it's all speculation. The last car I drove was a 13 civic and by accident I drove it on L instead of D on the freeway for good 2 miles. Anyway, paranoia at best here.

I know the feeling, you spend allot of money on a new car and you want it to be Perfect. But the reality is that cars are solidly built and they will stand up to tons of abuse over their lifetimes. The first 133 miles is not going to have any effect on the car's long term reliability. Hondas in general, and the Fit specifically, are the most reliable cars on the market. So extended warranties are basically a bet against that proven reliability. If it makes you feel more secure, then find the best deal and buy one. But in most cases you are much better off putting that $1000 away for a rainy day and you have made a better financial choice.
Anyway, I'm just going to cancel and like you said, save it for a rainy day. Besides, Geico insurance offers a Mechanical Breakdown Coverage for 7 years 100k miles for an affordable rate integrated with your insurance policy. I might just consider that.

Hi, even though this is my first Fit, it is not my first Honda. I've had:
76 Civic 1.5 4 speed manual, 4 door
85 Accord hatchback 1.8 5 speed manual
95 Civic LX 1.5 four door 5 speed manual
and I still have
97 Odyssey 2.2 4 speed automatic
In my humble opinión, the most reliable cars ever made are Hondas.
