Got an Agean Blue LX 6MT for $15,991.21 OTD after Honda's $500 grad discount. Financed it at 5% for 6 years which is a bit steep, but for a loan of 16K on a 16,470 car I didn't think I did too bad. No trades, (EDIT: No money down from me), no extra frills at all. Got it in Richmond, VA.

Hello all.
First off, awesome site and idea. Thanks for this. I have a quick question.

We are wanting an EX in Modern Steel, no frills. Problem is, there are none in Ohio (according to the list I was shown). The manager said that the HR-V production is happening on the same line as the FIT line, so they've slowed or halted production.

They said they would track one down for us and have it driven out here (probably Indianapolis, IN or Louisville, KY). I'm not too thrilled about starting with a 200-300 miles on the car but oh well.

Long story short, they have upped our offer sheet (just a TrueCar match @ MSRP $18,882) a total of $218 for this delivery fee.

This something I should be paying? I was thinking of meeting them halfway but called some family and they've all had vehicles driven from other places and not paid for them...thoughts?

Thanks!

Here's one in Ohio. Your dealer is full of shit and you should look up all the honda dealers in your area and search their inventory online. Your specific dealer's network was probably the list he showed. If you're looking for a manual, it might be harder to find though just warning you.

For my EX-L, in Chicago area, paid $20,102.
White Orchid Pearl with no additional options.
Will be ordering the cargo cover online because it's too expensive through the dealer.

Cheers. Thanks for the help.
Tracked one down about 70 miles from home and hopefully picking it up tomorrow. Will update with the deets when it's finalized.

EX CVT
$18,500 without tax, title, and fees.

I don't think it's bad for my area where there is only one other Honda dealer within 50 miles to compete with.

2015 EX CVT
$18,700 OTD after everything (taxes, registration, etc.)

Dealer agreed to 18,500 if we chose one from their lot but my wife was set on the color red. In the end they agreed for 200$ extra to bring a red one in from the next state over.

Also free state inspections for life of vehicle, lifetime oil changes/filter and powertrain warranty from the dealership itself. Dealership is about an hour away and they are also offering free pickup service tomorrow when the car comes in.

Dealership is mentioned on page 34, same salesman.

Wow, you're very lucky to have a dealer like that, too bad they're not closer.

2015 Fit LX

Starting $18,699+t/t/l including nitrogen, alarm etc.

OTD: $17,196 including tax, title, registration and all weather floor mats
Lifetime free inspection(not emissions), one free oil change, one free tank of gas on first service due to 2.5 hour credit processing delay.

Traded in 2008 BMW 335Xi for $13,500.

I feel that we made a fair transaction and so far am very happy with my Fit. I was able to negotiate this price in about two hours. I feel I could have done $500 better if I waited but wanted to buy the car. All said in done it took at least 5 1/2 hours, which I was not happy about.

Wow, that's less than a 1% price increase.

Brand New: 2015 Yellow 6MT LX $13,995

I was just at Herb Chambers in Westboro Massachusetts and saw the tag. It seems like a lot of car for short money. The price was only for that specific car. I was looking at the HRV. I wonder if the HRV's shark fin antenna would work on my 2015 Fit?

I wanted to wait until fall but circumstances being as they were I bit yesterday.

Silver 2015 EX 6MT for $17,400. OTD was just north of $19,000, mostly thanks to Cook County, IL. Wheel locks were thrown in and I got a coupon for half off on aftermarket accessories if I buy within the next week or two.
