First 15,000 km (9,320 m) I averaged 5.8L/100 km (40.6 mpg) from about May 2018 - October 2018.
Then it went up to about 6.3L/100 km (37.3 mpg) through the winter of 2018-2019.
I stopped caring/keeping track of it for the next 10,000 km because I was happy with the mileage numbers and pleasantly surprised that I was getting higher mileage than the estimates for a Fit with a manual transmission.
I started keeping track again this winter and since January 14, 2020 I've driven 2,500 km and I am averaging 6.1L/100 km (38.6 mpg) very happy with this number considering I live in the Toronto area and it's been pretty damn cold since January.

rismo, silver ex, and the rest of the "regulars" in here, I got a question for you guys:
What would life be like if you guys all of a sudden, stop tracking mpg?
I ask because, I actually have been doing just that. It was hard at first to just stop cold turkey... lol.
With free EV charging at work, I sadly no longer have much to "track" nowadays... Its bitter sweet. Also, AFAIK ... there are no existing "fuelly" equiv out there that track ev miles driven vs the price one pays for electricity if charging from home.
One fun tidbit I'd like to share. I challenged myself to see how far I can go on 1 tank of gas (my bmw i3 holds 2.4 gal of gas as back up in case I run out of charge) and the answer (FOR ME) is 3741 miles!
for those that will ask, charging from home costs $2.44 (assuming 13 cents per kwhr X 18.8 kwhr battery. this is not a real figure, as the car and gas tank would never allow the charge to dip below 8%)

I would think that, not that it is a bad thing, but the details and nitty gritty of tracking fuel consumption would transfer to electricity consumption. Meaning, you will still enjoy tracking those numbers; you just need to find a different methodology.
Haha, it wouldn't affect me any. When I gave my wife my 4Runner she didn't track the MPG anymore. It's fun tracking to see how much I can beat the EPA ratings.
Fit mileage experience-2016 ex cvt and 2019 LX manual
I'm on my second Fit as I lease.
2016 Ex with CVT averaged 37.28 mpg over 29,637 mi.
2019 LX 6 speed is averaging 36.72 mpg over 10,774 miles.
Insights-
The CVT was way more relaxed at highway speeds (2300 rpm) but not very exciting to drive.
The 6 speed is more entertaining but much higher rpm at highway speeds.
Fuel econ? JJust about the same for me.
I’m getting around 32mpg on aggressive studded snow tires, driving on a hilly highway with regular high winds. And I’m driving between 70-80 mphr.
Aside from speed and tires the biggest affect I have seen on mileage with previous vehicles was terrain and weather.
We put 120k miles on a 2005 Honda Civic in flatland Alberta, where the winds are fairly gentle and could easily get around 40 mpg at 60 -70 miles an hour on the highway.
After moving back to Newfoundland, which is a island in the North Atlantic, with regular high winds, and very hilly terrain it was closer to 30mpg.
if I babied it and no wind maybe 35 mpg,and that meant letting the speed drop off on every hill and trying to make the speed back on the down grades.
looking forward to summer tires set at max tire pressure to see if there’s a noticeable difference.
I have a 2017 LX CVT I bought on 6-17-19. I live in south Texas, no hills and warm/hot weather year round. I just drive mostly short trips, less than 10 miles. I track my mileage on each fill-up. I filled the tank on 6-17-20 so I put 2046 miles in 1 year. I always used the ECON mode. I used 71.86 gallons to drive these 2046 miles which calculates 28.47 MPG., I guess my drive habits are the reason for the low mileage. I maintain 33 PSI tire pressure, check tire each month. For the next year I will leave the ECON to see what difference it makes. The car is much peppier with the ECON off. The best mileage on a tank was 32.78 and the worst was 25.70. I am retired and the low miles I drive does not make worry too much about MPG.
The car had 16496 miles on it when I bought it and after 1 year it has 18542 miles. Thanks to all who post on this site, much good info. I have 1 question Has anyone put a AEM 21-748C cold air intake system on their car and any thought about it. Thanks, Bogey
29 mpg seems low but it might be the from your specific driving habits. I average 41-42 mpg on each tank and I drive it 50 mi each day and average about 7% in city driving. I use 87 octane gas from Speedway with every fourth tank from Mobil. I have run 4 bottles of Techron through my tank one right before each of the 4 oil changes I've performed in it's 12800 mile life on my 2019 LX.
926 miles trip. 45.4 mpg Mod delete this thread too many mpg thread already
I drove to the dark sky area of Texas for night photography and I got 45.4 Honda displayed mpg on a 926 mile trip non top tier gas that contained 10% ethanol. I even tried sleeping overnight in the Fit, but the temperature of 88 deg F made it impossible. I love my CVT Fit,

I removed the undercover permanently after the dealer first free oil change. After that, I change the oil and filter myself in about 15 min since I could reach both the plug and the filter without having to lift the front end. When oil quality reads 20% the Fit has gone between 9,000-9,700 miles when the oil is changed. This car is so simple to maintained.

I get about 43.1 mpg average in cruise control at 65 mph in my daily commute to work. I generally drive three hours to work and drive another hours home. I uses the AC 95% of the time.
I have a 2018 manufactured, model year 2019 and taken into service 2020 GK5 6MT Jazz, which has now 4000 km on it. Average fuel consumption this far is 5,8 l/100 km (40.5 mpg) according to board computer and 6,0 l/100 km (39.3 mpg) calculated from fill-ups. I've had quite much highway on moderate speed and its been summertime, but considering how much I like enjoying and redline, it's amazingly good value. For sure it will be worse, when winter arrives here.
The difference between computer and actual consumption varies between fill-ups 0,1-0,5 l/100 km (2-8 %).
For those of you following along at home, take the liters divide by 3.7 you'll be at the number of gallons required to travel 100 kilometers. Now times the kilometers by 0.62 and you'll know how many miles he went on those gallons. Divide the miles by the number of gallons and you have mpg... the lower number is better. So basically he's getting 39.5 mpg whilst still enjoying the blistering acceleration of the fit!

Did you see a hit in MPG when you went to W30 (30 weight) oil?

I remember the days of 3,000 mile oil changes, and we had up to four cars in the family. Now we have two cars that go a long time between changes. I drive the car onto wooden ramps - lots of room to work. I usually touch up the rust on the frame while I'm under there.
I just purchased a pre-owned 2015 GK w/ 86K. I'm not new to having a Fit, I actually had a 2008 Fit Sport, when it first was introduced. I loved driving the Fit!
I bought the car with a full tank of gas (topped off to the neck). I just went and did my first fill up and payed $27 @ $2.61 per gallon. I pumped exactly 10.68 gallons into the tank (topped off to the neck) as I usually do. I ended up getting 451.7 miles with the computer telling my that I had 9 miles left to drive.
