Hard to find?

Just curious if the 2015 fits are hard to find still. I just started looking and it seems like most places only have a couple.

Has anyone seen the purple? That's the color I want.

It may depend on your location. I'm in West TN, and the 2015's still seem to be a little scarce around here. Today I believe there are 7 spread across 3 local dealerships. 10 days ago there were only 2 within 100 miles. This morning I just looked at the first LX to show up within 100+ miles of here. And the closest white Fit of any style is almost 200 miles away at the moment. So they are slowly appearing. But it also appears that there is quite a bit of built up demand so they aren't spending very much time on the lot before getting sold.

.... Alaska has none. :P

Dealer called me over the weekend to let me know they still hadn't gotten any, weren't sure why the delay (other than being Alaska) and were hoping to get some this week. I just want to see one!!! Not ordering/buying until August/Sept time.

Only one dealership on Oahu confirmed with me via email that there 2015 Fits available for sell and they only had 1 EX on the lot so far. It takes us a while since everything is sent by boat.

I'm in San Diego. Does this relatively scarcity mean they're going to charge a premium?

Has anyone here ever used Costco's car buying service? How'd that work out?

I wouldn't bother with a car buying service, these cars are so new that dealers are not really discounting them. If I were you I'd probably take a look around the LA area, although I have yet to see a purple model anywhere.

I'm in San Diego, too. Pacific Honda has a few and I got one this weekend. Hoehn Honda had a purple EX-L this past Saturday, not sure if still there. Was at Mossy Honda today and they had a blue one, if not more. Look hard and you'll find. Don't trust dealer websites for inventory. Just go it or make an online inquiry and they'll contact you. Best of luck!
