You have to take out current center lid, but it's doable... I'm considering.

That was the same armrest I had in my 2011 fit. I had to buy it as an add-on when I purchased the car. The trays below are the giveaway. I loved how you could pull it forward for more arm room, but the "pleather" de-laminated and left a bubble in the last six months I owned it.

I purchased my 2015 fit July 26th trading in my 2011 for it. There wasn't an option for the armrest on this model. I would have bought it.

Not on the list, but it would be the horribly cheap, chintzy carpet material in the Fit. I thought the carpet in the '09 Fit was cheap, but Honda managed to outdo themselves this time around. I had to buy Weathertech floor liners just to hide the lousy carpets.

Even my '02 Dodge Neon had nice cut pile carpeting throughout.

Honorable mention goes to the felt(?) wheel well liners in the EX rear wheel wells. You know, the ones that don't fit and hang down. I can just imagine how well slush and ice will cling to the material, and how they will collapse from the weight next winter.

Still loving the Fit. AND...the Nav/Radio seems to have been designed by the same engineer who created the German Enigma machine...except he forgot what he was doing about 3/4 into the job and just took a nap. There is no workable way to input a new address while driving...you're supposed to be able to speak the address but this is horribly lost in translation. (3245 Maynard St becomes "Maine"...yes Honda Nav...take me to "Maine" please.).
Laughably unacceptable in all manners pertaining to human-machine interface.
Nav works great when you have the correct address.

Strange question...

Lane watch Camera (EX only)- Cool feature. Some complain of the "wart" under the mirror. I think the function far outweighs any visual issues.

Back up camera- All automated with 3 different viewing angles.

Bluetooth phone integration- Instantly connects to my Note 3 every time. Even reads my texts to me while driving.

Touch screen infotainment system- We don't need no stinking knob! Use the handy steering wheel controls.

Smart entry push button start (EX only)- I love this. I never have to take my keys out of my pocket. How convenient!

Drivers sider extended view side mirror- OK this one is a little useless. I just use it to get a quick extra peripheral.

CVT or 6 MT (compared to last years auto or 5 MT)- I really like my CVT. New technology and super smooth easy driving.

Greater back seat legroom- Thats a bonus for any passengers. Cargo space still rocks!

Higher HP/Fuel economy (compared to last years)- Umm how could this be a negative?

Oh wait was this supposed to be a post on negatives. Sorry, I have none. Very pleased with my new Fit.
Maybe it's just me or maybe it's just cause I haven't driven it that much but I second the above statement. It's a 130hp, 6 speed, 35+mpg, Fit that has raised the bar yet again! What is there to complain about?

It's funny a lot of people mention the touchscreen media controls as being a pain. That is literally the main reason I chose the base model (and have been super happy thus far).

More legroom

I would have preferred a column shift, eliminating the entire center-floor mess, creating more legroom.

I really don't get this. I chose the EX specifically FOR the touch screen, and I'm absolutely loving it. SO much easier to use than the multi-function knob on my '09 Fit that I never figured out.

Unfortunately, "column shift" went out when the "four on the floor" became the epitome of "sporty" back in the 60's.

There is hope, I suppose. I see the new Pilot has revived "push button" shift (just like Mom's old '61 Dodge Lancer).

If I wanted a real sports car I would have stepped up and spent much more money on a more expensive Honda. Moving the shift to to column or dash on the 2015 Fit LX CVT would free up leg room for the driver and passenger which is better on long trips.

IMO, the Fit is the "sportiest" car that Honda currently sells here, and a sad state of affairs that is, indeed.

Column shift seems to have gone the way of the carburetor these days, for better or worse. last car I had with column shift was a 1970 Buick Skylark.

I will agree that the center console is wider than it needed to be.

Certainly Honda has much sportier and faster cars than the economical 2015 Fit. The Fit has the best longevity and mileage for the price which is why I bought it. Column shift is on many rental cars I have driven recently the last being a Toyota Sienna.

I could argue the point that faster doesn't always equal "sportier", and also that the Toyota Sienna is a mini-van, not a car, per se, but what's the point?

Seats and armrest are my only complaints. Well, and that I bought a CVT instead of searching harder for a manual. Anyone want to trade? :P

Shift by Android would be a nice way to make more legroom ;-]

And the good old days of "three-on the-tree" and front bench seats, so you could snuggle with your sweetie while driving. Distracted driving is nothing new, but the distractions were better then, if memory serves!

Absolutely right on the money! I HATE the fact that there is no true armrest on the center console. I had to purchase an after-market armrest and even that will take some modifications to make it work. It's still not high or long enough to serve as a proper armrest. I'll let you know how it plays out after I take it to a leather shop here in Chicago. And to think it was such an easy thing for Honda to add, as they did on the 2013 Fit. Good grief!

Also, my android worked via bluetooth on my previous 13 civic, but in the 15 fit it's not recognizing my android phone (Not referring to thru HDMI plug in) Just bluetooth to stream audio. Maybe because this updated Honda Link is bluetooth 4.0 and not backward compatible?? Are there anyone else here who can't connect their android phones via bluetooth?

I know this is old, but I connected my Razr M (CRAZY outdated) with no issues.
