So, I'm wondering if they make car alarms that will recognize your little remote RFID and disarm. I'd rather not have a clicker.

Anyone know if, or can recommend, a car alarm?

P.S. Finally getting my Fit (next week)! Autoland seems to be able to get a hold of them.

 

I do recommend Compustar however, do not expect to have any data control modules available for 2015 models for at least 3-4 months. I have tried to find info on brand new Subarus, some Fords, Toyotas and Kias. I am sure they are working on something but for now, its just too soon.

 

Viper also has a passive keyless entry system (made by parent company DEI) that is similar to the Compustar version, they both have an additional fob (though you don't have to press the button on it). DEI also made a new "SmartKey Entry" system where you can use a bluetooth enabled phone as the "RFID."

However, I don't think either Compustar or DEI make one that uses the factory fob. Not sure anyone does.

Of course, factory passive entry comes standard on the EX trim.

 

Viper has alarm/keyless/auto start via the viper app for iPhone/android. You can be around the world and unlock the door with your phone. The app is free. Down load it and take a look. The portion for the car is 250.00 if memory serves me right.
