Now that more Fits are on the road, I think it would be interesting to hear the stories you have about the reactions, comments, questions, etc. That you are getting from others when you are out and about.

 

I went on a pleasure drive for no other reason than to get more time driving the new car, actually on a highway for near 200 miles.

I was pulled up and parked near the front of a Kroger, some guy near the doors made a comment as I was going into the store. I didn't hear him and asked him to repeat, and he was actually commenting on the "New Fit". I was surprised he even noticed because it was quite dark out.

 

Supermarket story of my own: I was at a Publix, waiting in the car for my wife, parked next to an older fit. Had the window down. I see this guy looking in my car on the passenger side -- he sees me, and walks around to my side and chats me up about the Fit. I'm telling him all I can when the owner of the other fit comes out with he groceries. Now I'm talking to both of them about the car. I felt like I had a new Porsche!

 

I'm amazed that anyone even notices the new Fit, since it looks so much like several other subcompacts already on the market.

I don't think that it will be anything like when I got my xB in 2003, where I had people stepping out and waving me to a stop to ask what the heck it was.
