What have you noticed?

I've had my Fit for a few days now, and it seems that I notice new little things/features each time I get in the car when I have time to poke around.

Tonight, I realized that there is an ambient light above the cup holders! To be fair, this was only the second time that I've driven the car at night, and I wasn't even expecting to have a light there. I only noticed it when I unplugged my Walkman from the USB port.

What little things have you noticed?

I just found yesterday that you can turn on the side view camera by pushing the button at the end of the blinker control...if you want the camera on without having the turn signal on.

The GD3 had these little lights too.

I was happy to see them in my 2015 when I spotted them.

I've had my new baby for one week today, and I just noticed the turn signal tap thingy!

You tap the turn signal, it goes on for 3 blinks. You push down harder and it just goes on.

It's supposed to be used for changing lanes. My dads 3-Series has it and I've always thought it was super cool so I'm super happy I have it now too.

Can you tell I'm easily amused?

No, I'm amused too. That's a pretty nice feature for a car that's more than $10K less!

Well, nothing in particular. The whole car is a damn sight better than my '09 and '10 Fits were.

Turn the front windshield wipers on and put the car in reverse and it will automatically turn the rear wiper on, so you can see clearly behind you.

Leave the key fob inside the car (with smart entry), lock the door with the door handle button, the car will lock and then immediately unlock.

Ha! So am I! That's why I started this thread. I kept finding little touches that I really didn't expect. I wanted to see what others were finding as well that they weren't expecting.

I love this little car more and more every day!

I noticed under my car there is this white or beige coating underneath the cargo area. In other Fits, I noticed it being underneath other areas. I don't know what it is. It almost looks like a putty you use as a bondo before painting a car. Anyone else have this and got any idea what this is? Did older model of Fits have these Putty like coating?

My sales guy went to gas the car up at pickup and I had the key. The car moved but immobilized in like 10 yards. Cool.

That's cool. Did you have to do anything special to "unlock" it, or just get back in range with the key and everything goes back to normal?

Not too sure that I like that feature. In an arid climate the rear wiper is mostly a way to mess up the rear window. Luckily, the fix is just to disconnect the wiper!

Love the feature and it works great!
Rainy here in beautiful western North Carolina...it has been nice not having to turn on a rear wiper switch (redundant) when the fronts are on. I won't be disconnecting anything..

The fog lights can work as cornering lights of sorts in really dark areas.
