When will they bring more?

I've been looking for a Blue LX Manual 2015 Fit everywhere and no one around me has it. When can I expect them to bring out more, or what should I do to get them to? Anyone else in a similar situation?

I'm in Texas, moving soon to the Pacific Northwest. Do I have a better chance there?

Thanks for your comments!

Manuals are going to be slow to roll out I'm thinking. Might have to order one.

None of us pea ons know. We are like you, and just have to call in and ask the dealership to call you once they arrive...

I'll look into that one, thanks!
This puts me in a big dilemma I don't know about the logistics of, let's say, buying a new car in Colorado and bringing it up straight to Washington state. I don't wanna pay double taxes and registration fees. Anyone have experience?

First, the car in Colorado is likely vaporware. Dealers are listing cars on order as if they are in their inventory just to get bodies in the door.

Second, there are cars continuously in the pipeline. After the initial "feeding frenzy" dies down you will be able to find the car you want. Honda has built the capacity and now needs to sell a lot of cars to make that pay off.

For the problem about bringing an out of state new car to Washington state, consult the local taxing authority. Most states have a way of mitigating the "double jeopardy."

I'm going to test drive a Blue 2015 6-speed manual today just south of Atlanta GA. (Sons Honda- McDonough, GA). I am awaiting delivery for a Silver manual later this week.

I'm a bit confused as well with Honda announcing manual transmission and now the lack of them. Color options are sparse too. You would think they would be many to choose from by now. I'm okay ordering one, but you can't even do that with the dealer because they don't know the status of them either.

It's the same issue Honda has had with mannies on every year of the Fit.

I'm still hoping that it will be fine in the future, and they just threw the cvts in the production line to start, then once production's fully going, they'll backfill with a more reasonable mix at the factory.

I've got my # in at the dealership down the street from work; they initially told me second week in July before I can test drive one, but I'm guessing it will be more like mid-August.

I agree that that is sometimes the case, however, the photos of the car were taken on this dealer's lot. So I doubt that very much.

Positive Thoughts

Look on the bright side! If it does take you longer to get your Fit, at least there is a higher chance that whatever problem Honda had with the first Fits (Ex: Paint from what I read) will probably have been resolved at the factory by the time you get yours.

Yours will not have been one of the 'fixed' Fits.

I'm hoping for the same thing. The one we're supposed to get has a vin in the high 13,000 range so I'm hopefully they'll have worked out any production issues before then. I guess we'll see whenever it shows up.
