I'm out on this forum for awhile

Enjoying my fit, but basically incredibly anxious about it being a new model -- this board is giving me buyer's remorse about what is going to go wrong rather than just letting me enjoy the car.

Ah the internet. The best invention in the world and the worst.

Not going to do this ever again. Will wait a year after the new model comes out.

Not sure what is making you nervous about it. There are a few items but nothing serious. Always remember there will always be an issue with someones car. You will feel more comfortable once you are driving it. We will see you back then.!

You have to take forum banter with a grain. Way back when with the 09 it was things like screening out rocks to save the ac condenser, fog light covers, center console, the ac being on during defrost, intermittent wiper hack... all kinds of stuff. You can get caught up in it. Forums are useful to a certain extent for certain things. Once you get your car, just enjoy it. Not every problem or gripe will effect you or even make a difference to you. And you shouldn't let it. I typically drop every day forum checking after a point here. I only look in more often because of the 2015, otherwise there's no reason.

I use to be on some motorcycle forums since I rode them so much. Always found them mainly helpful and great. Sure, some people had problems (so did I with one bike) and some people can be rude, but overall, again, the info and people are great. I'm new to this forum but already see it is a wonderful one.

If you like items of the Fit that others complain about, just flow with it and enjoy what YOU like.

Im pretty much in the same boat. Every time I read a new post about a defect I run into the garage to see if I have the same problem. Its my first brand new car in 14 years and on top of that its a brand new redesigned model. But I appreciate the info, I would rather know what to look for then be kept in the dark and know nothing.

I just hope this place doesn't turn into NASIOC! That site can get ruthless.
