I picked up a black Fit EX for my son yesterday, and when I got home, I realized that the car has two seatbelts for the passenger but none for the driver. That is, the belt on the driver's side was designed to go on the right side of the car.

I bought the car from a dealer 30 miles away, but the local dealer will verify it today and order a new belt.

Don't wanna be rude but didn't you just post this a couple threads down? The backwards buckle thread? As a potential Fit buyer, I went into panickd mode thinking this was gonna be another set of quality issues people are having until I looked at the OP.

 

Sorry. I might have posted twice. I took it to a local dealer, and he just twisted the buckle around on the belt. I didn't want to do that myself and void the warranty. It doesn't take much. I don't know what the original problem was, but now I have two proper belts.
