Worrisome Wiring Workaround

Yesterday I removed the panel with the 12v/HDMI/USB outlets. By evening, I wanted to lock the car, so I pushed the black button the door handle - nothing. Oh, there must be a door not fully closed. I found the unclosed door and closed it. Still no locking. I could lock/unlock with the keyfob, but not with the door handle.

Since I had gotten into the wiring, there was no way this was going to be covered by the warranty, so I was concerned. Then I got an idea. On the back of that panel, there is a connector that snaps in above those outlets. I reconnected it, and the locks work again.Name: DnRyvU3.jpg

I admire folks like you.

See, I'm like the following:

How many WASPs does it take to change a light bulb?

Two.

One to call the electrician while the other makes the martinis!

I figure nothing ventured, nothing gained. I'm slow and cautious, so I don't have too many problems with work like this.
