Wheel Thread: What fits?

I'm not used not already having this info readily available. Anyone already order wheels? If so, what size/width and offset? Maybe we can get everyone to post pictures with specs to see what's close to flush (or whatever scene you're into) to help us have informed decisions when making these purchases.

I was looking into getting 16x7+4x for my Girlfriend's 15 White EX-L.

Oh, hello, I'm a newb.

Oh, hello, I'm a newb.
Never would have guessed.
While there are thousands of posts the vital specs are:
1. 4 x 100 bolt pattern for 12mm studs
2. rim width typically 6 to 7 inch
3. offset between 45 and 55 mm; be very carefulk of those saying 40 mm or less.
4. make sure the spokes will clear the brake calipers, all 4.
5. make sure the hub bore fits your Honda. And you get the wheels nuts that fit your wheels.
Tire Rack has excellent tech and fitment info on wheels for cars as well as good photos and look sees.
good luck.

How are there thousands of posts specific to the '15? Make sure they clear brake calipers? I wouldn't have guessed..

Does anyone know what stock 16's specifications are? Including width and offset.

Except thr wheel diameter the vital specs are those I stated. Applies to 17" wheels, 14", 15", and 16" wheels.
Again star with TireRack and chosse wheel diameter and Honda Fit and they will show you a selection that fits your car. And show you a Fit equipped with them. If they aren't acceptable you can peruse this site, other suppliers, and hope you get good advice on whether their wheels fit.

This is what I intended when i created this thread. User would post wheel/specs/tires with photograph to help others decide what they were interested in doing.

(Not my car. Picked randomly from the370z)
Forgestar F14 wheels in matte black 19"x9.5" +20 / 19"x11" +18
Bridgestone Potenza re050a 275/35r19 fronts/ 305/30r19 rears
Looks like i'm just going to order her a set of RPF1's 16x7+43 4x100.

How about the choice of tires? original 195/50x16. or? Try to stay around the original diameter of 23.67" . If you go wider that means heavier and a slightly less dameter, say 23.25" will avoid much harm to mpg or acceleration. And no real error in speedometer or odometer. 2% isn't noticeable.

Good, please send me a check for 2% of your annual salary. You won't notice it!

Most automotive speedometers are a bit optimistic (so manufacturers won't be blamed for tickets) and odometers are a bit pessimistic (so manufacturers won't appear to be making warranties run out prematurely).

On my Scion, I went from the stock 185/60-15s to 195/65-15s and found that the speedometer is now perfectly calibrated, compared to several GPS speedometers. The odometer reads 8% low. This seems like a lot of error, but with the stock tires the odometer still read 4% low.

You're right, I wouldn't really notice the 2.5% but request denied.
At 60 mph a 2% error is 1.2 mph or 20 miles per thousand on the odometer.
The statistical error on most readings is about 3%. Just in case check the revs per miles for various tires of the same size at tire rack. Neither of your statements about manufacurers is true across the board.
You verified the dash readings with GPS? The calculated change for switching from 185/60x15 to 195/65x15 is 23.74 to 24.97, a whopping 5.2% change. And your mpg must take a hit as well as acceleration.

Are you a fellow Z owner as well?

I think this thread is a great idea once people start modding their GK's and posting their specs

Yes, sir. I don't post as much over at the370Z, but I still lurk occasionally.

Here's Roxanne.

Nissan 30000zzzzzz

I hope this doesn't turn into a Nissan Thread!

I am actively researching some nice wheels for my new LX Steel-wheel fit and am trying not to blow my load only to find I have polished a turd.

Enkei wheels are very highly rated which is important to me and there's lots of info you can research.

Does anyone have any experience with Konig wheels? I found a wheel that would LOOK awesome on my white LX ... nice combination of black/machined rim ... but are they any good? I hope one of these links work so you can ogle them yourselves, pretty cool looking, what do you think?

Konig is a decent brand. Lots of reps in its lineup of wheels, but so far my Heliums have held up great with my sticky tires and stiff suspension

mine are 205/60/15s mounted on 15x6.5 Konig Heliums with a 38mm offset. Sits nearly perfectly flush up front, tucked in about half an inch in the back.

No rubbing except over big bumps, due to my very worn out front struts. Good quality struts like the Koni Oranges or almost any coilover setup (700-2500 is expected range of cost depending on brand and purpose)

EDIT this fitment is on my 2013 GE8 fit EDIT

Not feeling them, but to each their own.

I just want to know what 16x7+43 looks like on this car!
