I've not found any reference to it in the owner's manual (and I've looked). There was another thread on here where someone found that the number of folders the radio would read on a drive was something like 700. That number IS in the manual for my '09 Fit, and it seems like Honda hasn't expanded the capacity, if true.

Thanks Uncle Gary, I just installed a half-full 64gb flash drive, and we'll see. I don't have a folder count at this point, but I'm sure it will be a while before I come close to hitting a wall. Love closing the hatch cover on this tiny drive!

The local Electronic Express did not have the 32 gig Cruizer Fit, but the 16 gig version was available for a few cents less. Since I was buying out of curiosity and not need, I got the smaller one. Works like a charm, took an old Neil Diamond CD without a hitch. According to a friend (unbiased) it sounds great. The CD barely made a dent in the thumb drive. My son has a 16 gig iPhone with 1,000 songs and the usual phone stuff and he says that there it more than enough room for more.

Oh, and think about how much physical space several CDs would take and how tempting they would be to thieves.

Omnivore

The storage technology is cheap, some musical tastes are rampant, and 64 gigs rocks; go for it!
