Fuse Question

If I add one of these Add-A-Fuse things to an empty spot on a fuse panel, will it be powered? I know the car might have to be turned on, but would there be a power wire running to all those blanks?

get a test light and check yourself.

i will be using an add a fuse for my sirius install. i have no idea where the fuses are, or what is free/used on the 15' fit. when i get a chance, i will look, but it should be self explanitory.

For my XM I taped into the wire for the 12v outlet. I ran that wire to a separate fuse panel which I put under the left side of the dash. I connected the XM, GPS, and dash camera to that. For my sons car, I'd like to try tapping into the original fuse panel over the driver's feet - taking an empty slot. If that doesn't have power, I'll use a slot where there's already a fuse.

With the ads a fuse, you can use a spot where there is already a fuse. You put the original fuse into the holder nd then add the new fuse.
