Unhappy Canadian options are really different..

Our dx, which you USA guys don't seem to have comes with power doors, windows, mirrors, heated mirrors, manual 6 speed, Bluetooth streaming audio and wireless phone interface, USB, 12 volt power outlet, 4 speakers, 5in. color LCD screen, back up standard camera, eco assist, hill start assist..the only things it doesn't have is air con, cruise control. The only colors available for the dx are Milano red, modern steel metallic, white orchid pearl. But the door handles and back of mirrors aren't body color so, make the red and white look really tacky IMO.

Next level trim lx includes a lot of the techy stuff - and basics that should be on all trim models - air con at the very least. $2800.00 difference in price.

I couldn't rationalize the $2800.00, so went with modern steel metallic dx. Don't know if I made the right decision, but just couldn't deal with that price difference.

Actually, it did. Brought the North to the peace table. Nixon and Carter let the victory get away. A good load of 1,000 pounders will persuade anyone

I think DX would be the best deal for the $$. In sense that it's the trim that has the lowest profit margin. If you compared Canadian DX against the Mexican-spec DX you'd be surprised how 'very basic' the Mexican DX is (pic below).

Or 8 track, lol.

When I get home, I can post the pamphlet/brochure with all the specs for Canadian models. I do believe we do not get the purple colour up here, though.

We don't get the purple up here. The only colors are the yellow for the EX L Navi and EX, blue, black, white, metallic, red for the LX, and metallic, white and red for the DX.
