Front end crash no airbag deployment?

Front end crash no airbag deployment?

when is the airbag suppose to deploy?

Not sure where sensors are, but yes the airbags should have deployed in a frontal collision at 35mph.

I believe the circle thing is your horn. The airbag sensors are usually small rectangular boxes bolted to the frame rails. They are accelerometers, not contact sensors. Look on the frame rails right behind where the bumper bolts to them. SRS wiring and connectors are usually yellow.

Was the collision at 35MPH or did you brake down from that speed before impact? Air bags don't deploy unless the speed is high enough to make them worthwhile, where the frame rails behind the sensors start to collapse. Otherwise, airbags cause more injuries than they save.

made me remember the days when the only SRS sensor in a honda was an impact sensor on the steering column.
