The Salesman pointed out "clearmask" that they put on the front end of the vehicle, after reading a review of the dealer, I get the feeling that is mainly for them to t extra profit, so even though they say "no negotiation", they have their little tricks to get more $. All in all it sounded like a reasonable price for a very nice car, and I may just buy one come spring of 2015.
Ron Tonkin Honda in Portland Oregon tried to sneak in the "magic bra". Their finance manager is a low down dirty dog. He didn't even ask if we wanted it. He threw that in the deal without telling us. I wouldn't return to Ron Tonkin again for a car. Luckily i caught it and told him i did not want the 1,000 "magic bra". He also kept manipulating around the extended service contract. He gave me the payment I wanted and at the last second I asked him the length of term. 7 years! Um, no. So I walked out with the car and winter floor mats. On that contract he was selling, he did not have a copy of the contract (never sign a contract without reading it) and besides I wouldn't buy a contract unless it is a Honda product. I do not recommend Ron Tonkin Honda. I felt as if I'd been with a hooker and an 8 ball all night.

I've dealt with sneaky finance guys over the years who always try to sell you extra stuff that you may or may not need.

Bottom line is check every line item on the sales order and question anything and everything. I've spent over an hour with the finance guy to make sure I am only paying what needs to be paid. So I'm satisfied with the whole deal.

Just sucks for me that I have to carry over the difference of the trade in onto the new loan. I don't think I will be doing that anymore and just pay the car off first. Lucky got the 1.9% interest so it's not gonna hurt me too much.

That's pretty bad. I'm glad I didn't have that kind of experience at my dealer, I would have walked away. I went to a second dealer to compare prices, and I was stuck for two hours to get a price. I'm glad I didn't buy there, I bought from the place that made me comfortable with my purchase.
