Rear wiper not working.

My EX CVT rear wiper doesn't work. I think it gets stuck in rear spoiler. Is there something I am missing.

We're probably going to need more detail to help. Have you changed wiper blades? Aftermarket spoiler? Any other mods, including electrical?

I will post a picture once I reach home. I did not install anything. Everything (spoiler) came with the car.

It should be easy enough to see if it was getting caught in the spoiler - which I doubt seriously.

I'm guessing your wiper motor is going south on you.

Looking at the pictures here, rear wiper stays towards bottom of driver side rear window. Mine moved out to passenger side of window and stayed there stuck with rear spoiler.

Thanks

Pics showing this issue. Wiper went to other side and stuck there. I have seen it trying to moving out a little while driving. May be it is wind.

That's weird. My rear wiper never arcs high enough to get near the spoiler. I'd suggest taking it in to your dealer.

Looks like you might've gotten the wrong (longer) wiper blade.

It came from factory like that. I just bought it a week back. They are working on fixing it.

Got it fixed from dealer. They replaced rear spoiler cover. It is suppose to be missing a proper cutout.

You gotta wonder where they got the spoiler (without the cutout) that was installed on your car. I would assume they only have one spoiler down there to install on it.

That's pretty weird. My wiper goes closer to the spoiler than I had been remembering, but not so close that it would actually touch it, let alone get stuck.

Glad they were able to fix it for you!
