Break-in period and helping in break-in

Is there any break-in period for new Honda fit we suppose to not to accelerate/hard brake. I heard about revving up couple of times a week or two to help break-in/valve seating in Accord forums. Is it the case with Fit as well?

Thanks

The general consensus was to not rev it too high or use the cruise control for the first 1,000 miles. Try searching though; this topic has been discussed at length in several threads.

I don't believe I saw anything in the manual about a break-in period and my dealer didn't mention anything to me either. I have to assume that it's not so important anymore. I've always done the usual don't rev high, don't brake hard, don't drive at one speed for too long thing with all my new cars.
