Drone concerns from reviewers?

Not a concern for me. I have a 2012 Mustang GT which is not a daily driver. Of course, I love the throaty sound of the exhaust. So the "drone" of the CVT on my new 15 Fit LX turns out to be a perfect compliment for me. I love the sound of this little car. To me, it just adds to the character and personality of the Fit. Mustang owners pay big bucks to enhance the sound of their cars (mine's just stock). Anyway, the "drone" of the fit is a bonus for me. Not a problem. I'm loving the Fit. Big bang for the buck.

We call it a growl and love it too. It really doesn't start until over 3,000 rpm or so and isn't noticeable when driving easy or cruising on the highway. Since the CVT lets the engine rpm follow the throttle, you can evoke the growl pretty much at will.

Or if you chose not to evoke the "growl" via the throttle, you can bring it to life with the left paddle shifter.

People who deride it as a "drone" are typically those who don't understand how the drivetrain works.

To them, if the RPMs don't track with speed there is something wrong because it isn't like the car that they drive.

As large as the Fit is on the inside, I found I had a *really* hard time flying my drone in it.

Our Fit is so small on the outside, we normally park our Fit inside our drone, prior to flying.
