no throttle response while rev-matching
no throttle response while rev-matching
Sometimes when I downshift to 2nd gear at a low speed (say around 12mph) for a turn,
the throttle will not respond when I blip the gas pedal (it will respond if I blip it again, but the car has already lost its momentum by then.).
As if the ECU don't want me to blip the throttle at that point of time; however, this does not happen when rev-matching at higher speed.
Its' very difficult to replicate the issue unless to have cameras shooting my feet and tachometer for every trip.
Does this ever happen it you guys?

That's never happened to me, not as described. I will say that getting the blip just right is an ongoing work in progress, even after 15,000 miles, but I've not had an instance where I hit the throttle and the car didn't respond at all.
Are you noticing this more with light tap on the pedal, or does it not respond even to a more heavy footed input?

I was just wondering if this is a "feature" of drive-by-wire?
