Stealership Accessories

My Wife's new Fit arrived today.
As part of the sales deal I talked them into giving us a set of their All-Weather floor mats.
My opinion:
They are not worth the money and glad that I didn't pay for them.

If you're considering to buy these mats ...Don't.
For less $ you can order the weather Tech's and at least get your money's worth.

Oh great, I have these on the way which I purchased through Amazon (3rd party seller) . I got them for $112. Why do you consider them not up to snuff?

For starters they're flimsy. They feel like cheap plasticized PVC.
These (WeatherTech) are far better quality. Here is a link. The front pair is $110.00
2015 Honda Fit | WeatherTech FloorLiner custom fit car floor protection from mud, water, sand and salt. | WeatherTech.com

I still may buy the weatherTech's and sell the ones from Honda.

I have them and for any location south of the Mason Dixon line (no snow basically) they are fine. The weathertechs cost close to $200 bucks. I was just looking to keep the odd leaf and bits of dirt off my interior. They seem sturdy enough to keep my heel from digging a hole in the floor mat as I had done in my previous car.

Not everyone gets 96" of snow. For me they will suffice.

husky liners cover the entire dead pedal. weathertech covers half of it.

i have husky liners in my car since i bought it last week. they fit perfectly.

i read someone complained that the husky floor was slippery when wet. i just had a week of snow. noted no such issues.

buy from carid dot com. they provide free return shipping if you don't like it.

husky costs about 50% as much as weathertech and do not have obvious brand labeling.

+1 on the husky liners. I bought those too and think they're fine.

Ah ok, I'm in SoCal so sounds like the Honda ones will do just fine, thanks!

Oh wow, back when I was looking in December those could be had for well under $100 (I saw them for $70-80 on Amazon with free shipping). Some people did say that the back seat OEM mats are a little longer than the Weathertechs, so if you end up not liking them maybe sell the fronts and replace with WTs while keeping the back ones? If you don't mind the mismatched look of course.

I also wouldn't say that the WTs cover "half" of the dead pedal, more like 3/4. I personally keep my foot low on the dead pedal and never end up touching that uncovered part so it's not an issue, but for somebody with size 12 feet this might be something to take into consideration.

Or the huge advertising budget, with Weathertech's multi-page spreads in many magazines crowing over their Americanness.

Thanks for the tip on Husky liners!
