Accessory mode in EX w/ push start?

Hey folks, just got my new 2015 EX last night and its great! One thing I cant figure out -- how do you go from the engine running to accessory mode? Last night I wanted to turn my car off and finish a conversation in my driveway but hitting the button turned off everything. Is there a way to turn off the engine but not the power?

Thanks!!

With the car not moving and the engine running and your foot on the brake, put it in neutral instead of park, then press the Start/Stop button. Don't forget to put it in park before you exit though.

Or if you want to put it in park immediately, then do as follows: With the engine running and your foot on the brake, put it in neutral, press the Start/Stop button, take your foot off the brake (make sure you're on level ground though, or it will roll), press the Start/Stop button again, put your foot on the brake and shift to park. Wow, that sounds a lot more complicated than it really is.

You can try it but I think it will only allow you to shift if the ignition is in Run mode, not Accessory mode. I know you can't shift out of Park if its in Accessory mode, maybe it will allow you to shift into Park though. Give it a shot.

Okay, so I tried this, and you are able to shift into Park, but doing this shuts everything down. You will no longer be in accessory mode, so if you are using your phone via Bluetooth, you will have to transfer the call from your Fit to your phone first before shifting to Park.
