I have these e30 wheels from my old bimmer that I Wana try to fit on my "fit". they are 4x100 I think they should fit but a friend told me to get hub centering rings do I need them? if so how do I find out what size I need also since they are aftermarket rims I know I need new lug nuts is there a difference between long and short lugs or is that more for looks and where do u recommend I go buy the stuff thanks a ton

 

You don't NEED hub centering rings, but they're nice to have and make it a little easier to mount the wheels.

Need to know what kind of wheels they are to suggest lug nuts, but most likely you'll be looking for conical lug nuts. I even think the stock Bimmer wheels take conical.

Long lug nuts are probably not needed, those are for extended studs.

Lots of places to order from on the internet, just be careful about quality and do your research on the sellers and shops.

Yeah, just regular Honda 12x1.5 "tuner" lug nuts will work fine. Conical seat.

You don't absolutely need the hub adapters but if you want to get them, you need to find out the hub bore of those wheels and get appropriately sized ones to adapt to Honda hub bore.

Before pissing away money doing this try the wheels first. Make sure you don't have any rubbing etc.

 

tyou don't need centering rings. but you do need to check that the wheel dish clears your calipers. yes the BMW wheelneeds conical lugnuts while many hondas take ball seats; the thread is the asme 12x1.5metric also check the hub bore too.if you need to you can add 1/4" (6mm) spacers to clear tight caliper clearanc e.we'vw done all.

 

They seem to clear fine. I can fit my hand all around and nothing seems to rub. Putting it on it was scetch but they look good thank

 

I drove on them to make sure nothing rubbed I did get crazy vibration I road force the wheels and balance thanks to a friend and I guess I do need the center rings so I guess I got to figure what is the bore size for the wheels and the bore size for the fit

 

Get them balanced before buying rings. I had one set even with rings we terrible. My current ones with a good balance are fine.

 

I balanced them and road force them to make sure the rim and or tire was not the culprit. And the wheels didn't take a lot of weight either. After some research I guess the center rings help with aligning the wheels and taking some of the stress on the road instead of the lugs taking it all I think I'm just gonna get them anyways there like 20 dollars hopefully the vibration stops
