Any advice...

I am leasing a 2015 Honda Fit since about the start of April. Since the first day it has had a rattle in the roof or back door, can't pinpoint, and it can't be fixed. Took it in to have it fixed 3 weeks after I took it home and explained the situation. Honda tried to fix it but the rattling sound is still there. Have brought it in three times over two months and no fix yet. Is there anything I can do about swapping the car for one without this defect or am I screwed? Their return policy is only 7 days... Which seems short.

Thanks!

Have a friend ride in the back seat and pin point it. It may be a simple fix, like a loose spare like others have posted.

I know its probably not much consolation, but if you are unable to locate the source and fix it, at least its a leased vehicle and not an owned one. You're therefore, at worst, stuck with the problem for only a finite amount of time (hopefully it's not a 72 month lease). In any event, good luck.

I had a very similar sound to what you are describing to me, I had a rattle in what sounded like the rear drivers side area. Found out it was the door itself rattling. Took it in, they realigned the door and now its gone!
