How much is the sport mode CVT option on the EX model?

I am thinking about getting a Fix EX with the CVT and see the sport mode/paddle shift cvt is an option but I can't find the price on their site.

Anyone know how much this is? I don't really want to pay the difference to move up to the EX-L as I don't think I would need/use the extra's.

Thanks
Ray

Paddle shift/sport mode comes standard as part of the EX and EX-L trim levels when the CVT is specified. It is not a stand-alone option. Virtually nothing is.

You guys sure about that? In the spec sheet is says the EX comes with a 6 speed manual transmission with Dual-Mode Paddle Shifters (Available).

2015 Honda Fit - Specifications - Official Site

I guess the OP is asking what is the price diff between a manual and CVT EX?

I am asking what the price difference is between the regular CVT Fit EX and the Sport Mode/Paddle Shift CVT for the EX. The EX-L comes with the Paddle Shift CVT. According to Honda's website the EX does not come with the Paddle Shift CVT standard. It is listed as optional but I can't find a price. Perhaps all CVT EX's are delivered with it though....need to go look at one tomorrow, or hopefully someone with a CVT EX will stop in and answer definitively.

All EX's come with the paddles shifters as long as you get the CVT.

Paddles are not an option, but choosing the CVT is.

Thanks!

I guess I was reading it wrong?

That is good to know, as the EX-L doesn't appeal to me as I do not like leather seats.

I wear nylon shorts or nylon pants (REI sahara cargo pants) and the leather seats are a big slip-n-slide. Jeans would work fine with leather, but I don't wear jeans much any more, so I opted for the cloth interior. I would have liked integrated navigation and its too bad you can get the NAV with cloth seats. The NAV option at 1K differential was also not too appealing when Google provides it on my smart phone. However, in the boonies, the navigation on smart phones does not hold up well, so you take the cheap with the downsides.

It is a bit confusing and, when I dug into the question, it wasn't clear to me if the paddles come standard with the CVT. Seems the LX CVT doesn't have paddles but the EX optional CVT does. The EX-L is clearly going to have a CVT with paddles...I know this because that's my baby.

A bit off topic but I like the navigation system and satellite radio immensely. I've lost Google maps in remote areas just when I really needed it. It's also easier to clean leather in my opinion. Fabric "breathes" better but it also soaks up sweat and other delicious liquids over the years and my dog's fur somehow creates a unique, covalent bond with fabric...no vacuum can overcome that bond so leather is the only option.

Andre is correct. The EX comes standard with the 6MT tranny. If you upgrade to the CVT (for $800), you get the paddles.

And it looks like the EX-L comes standard with the CVT, so it's not listed as "available."
