Great thanks! Here is search I did on their website for the battery you used. It has 525 CA. Very nice. Also scroll down for a sweet FIT build and a picture of the battery installed.

Search for "S975" - XS Power

This link shows the price...it ain't cheap.

Here are the specs on your battery. Another good option for more power.

Your stalling issue is due to the location (closeness) of your ballast in relation to the ECU in the engine bay. Move your ballast as far forward (towards the front of the car) as possible and away from the ECU. Either tuck it and have it blocked by the battery or install it behind the bumper by the crash bar. The discharge when your ballasts ignite sends a wave that disrupts your ECU causing the temporary blip and wanting to stall.

I concur with your findings. My wife's 2008 fit is already on its 4th battery. The dealer told us this battery was an unusual size and only Interstate makes them and then they slap a Honda label on them. (I tried to get a Die Hard with no luck because it is a unique size per Sears)

No car should not start because you accidentally leave the dome light on during the work day (had this happen) or overnight (had this happen too). These batteries are subpar in my opinion. I feel for folks in extremely cold climates that have these cars - winter must be unpleasant for them.

For not much more than the interstate there are several options, Odessey being one of them, interstates gell/encapsulated battery is another, about 2x the cca for either one in the same physical size.. .

I left one of the map lights on overnight, at least 12 hours, over the weekend and was glad the car started. I had changed to led bulbs so maybe that helped.
