Running Power For Sub

All,

New to the forum, but just bought my second Fit. I'm looking at adding a small powered sub, likely the Sound Ordinance or Kenwood, just to round out the sound. I'm pairing this up with a couple sets of Polk DB 651s that I will install next weekend.

I've looked in the 3rd Gen forums, but am wondering how hard it was to run a line from the battery through the firewall? Any posts with pics of the work being done?

Thanks!
Tom

Hey Tom. I'm doing the same thing, but with all Kenwood components. I plan adding two ksc-sw11 units off of one remote. One length of 10AWG wire from the battery fused at 20A should do the trick. There is a grommet under the driver side through the firewall. If you look at my YouTube channel xboxer1985, one of my videos of my trailer wiring installation will show this grommet I'm referring to.

I have a thread of my own I'm doing for my install. Soon as I'm able I'll be uploading videos and pics.
