Just got a year anniversary card from Honda. Even had a PBP colored FIT
on the cover.
Almost all the miles were put on in the first 8 months. Most of them highway miles.
Still on the original tires but they will not make 40,000 miles.
What I have learned:
1. Drive 65 mph or less and you may never have to buy gas again!
2. Purple is a damn hard color to keep clean.
3. Why yes, the paint is not very good.
4. Windshield is about as tender as the paint.
5. Ride and handling are nice, but I am a sports car guy. Wife likes it also.
6. In the mountains with CVT the rpms get up to 5000, never over.
7. All the shiny bling in the cabin is very distracting for me. YMMV
8. The electronics in the cabin are not something I need. Less toys = cheaper?
9. From my experience with the Civic and the FIT it seems that Honda's cars
are better than the service after the sale. Some dealers do understand and
do a fine job, but they are not anywhere near where we live.
10. Yes I would buy the FIT again.
Enjoy your ride.

Love my Fit, however I was pretty sad with how easily it has picked up rock chips. Thankfully I have not had any issue that requires a dealer yet, but I have heard the horror stories and already ruled out the two closest to me. I would rather drive an extra 20 minutes than wait an extra hour or two deal with improper service.
I'm just over a year myself, with a bit over 27,000 in that time, but my average is only around 38-39mpg (my calculations, not the car's). My (MSM) paint and glass are holding up well, despite my almost always using a touchless carwash and our crumbling rural roads here in Illinois.
I recently added a rear sway bar and like what it did to handling. Still understeers heavily, but it's crisper on turn-in and doesn't wallow so much the rest of the time.
I also don't care for all the shiny stuff in the cabin, but I do, on the other hand, like the tech, other than the fact that Honda lied about CarPlay. Still want to see a class-action on that!
I've not had to interact with the dealer yet, but will soon due to the CVT software recall.
