creeks and rattles in the dashboard?
Hi gang. New 2015 Lx owner here and I love the car, but for the first time after 10 months I've noticed some minor creeks and rattles in the dashboard, center console area. I was just curious if anyone else has noticed the same thing. It's nothing major (not yet), seems to have just started and only happens when I hit a bump in the road. Anyone else have the problem and have they thought of taking it in to have it looked at?

last year when it was cold, mine had some rattles in the right side of the dash. it disappeared after it warmed up. now that it is getting colder again, they have reappeared...
i will have to have the wife drive it while i sit in the pass seat and try to find the cause. till then, i will turn up the radio...

How's the fishing in that creek?
Back on topic, my '09 had a dashboard rattle in cold weather, but it disappeared when the weather warmed up. My '15 has lately developed a rattle somewhere in the back, but it's hard to look for it while I'm driving. Most likely some piece of plastic is shrinking a bit in the colder weather.

See if the black plastic cowl beneath the windshield is loose (outside the car). Its clips break or go missing. Replacing them didn't help in my case, so I silicone (Goop) glued it down. All quiet now. The glue is removable.

Now approaching my 2nd Winter with The Fit, I've noticed an annoying buzz/rattle on the left side of the front dash area.
It also does seem to go away once things warm up.
I suppose I could launch into a full out effort to track down where it is coming from. But at this point, it's much more convenient for me to ignore it for the 5 minutes or so it takes the vehicle to warm up.
It will probably get worse as a problem the longer I own the vehicle...so someday I'm probably going to have to figure out exactly where it is happening.
But I'm going to procrastinate at this point. It's too nebulous and intermittent for me to present as a warranty issue. I can just hear the tech now..."We Couldn't Duplicate The Problem" .
