I've been having sporadic problems starting my 2015 Fit EX M6. I push the clutch completely to the bottom, push da button, and nothing happens, not even the click of a dead battery. Generally the car starts after 3, 4 times.
Day before last, 5, 6, 7 attempts and I panic. I call the free Road Side Assist service. I talk, eventually, to a polite gentleman. He verifies my name and my VIN. Confirms my location. Then he asks the mileage. To display that I have to push the START button. Force of habit causes me to depress the clutch. The damn thing starts! Dead air at the other end of the phone.
I called Crest Honda this afternoon, verified warranty in effect, and set an appointment for tomorrow. This will be my first visit for service since I bought the car on May 2, 2015.

As promised, I took the Fit to Crest Honda and the service writer took the car in immediately. That was at 1:45. Got a free coke and popcorn. At 2:45 I was headed back home.
There was a service bulletin about the problem. A software problem was solved and the car washed. Nice, polite, and quick. A really friendly visit to Crest Honda, Rosa L. Parks Blvd., Nashville.
This is to give you guys the real deal on the starting issues of the 2015 Honda Fit. After not so many miles( kilometers in my case just over 14k) starter just started clicking but not turning. Analysis is not enough current goes thru the starter rotor to turn the engine. The contact area of the solenoid providing current to the starter has premature wear. This has to be replaced. Please see photos and parts available. Good luck!!
